  Gaming Area  

BINGO

  • Caller FT $8.00 Calls out the numbers for a bingo game. Operates equipment that randomly selects the numbers for bingo. Must be able to work directly with the general public. Must have good organizational and computer skills. Must be flexible with work shifts and days off. Must be able to handle busy and stressful situations. Requires high school diploma or GED. Must have previous customer service experience. Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Cashier FT $9.25 Verifies inventory counts and sales for a bingo session. Requires high school diploma or GED. Must have previous customer service experience. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have good knowledge of computers and software applications.

CAGE  

  • Cashier FT $10.00 Handles all customer transactions during an assigned shift. Requires a high school diploma or GED. Must have previous cash handling experience. Must successfully complete a Cage Aptitude test. Must be at least 18 years of age.

CASINO CLEANING SERVICES

  • * Shift Supervisor FT TBA Supervises and coordinates activities of housekeeping personnel engaged in the upkeep of the casino during an assigned shift. Requires high school diploma or GED. Minimum of one (1) year of housekeeping experience required. Requires six (6) months of supervisory experience. Requires knowledge of MSDS sheets and associated safety precautions.

ENGINEERING   

  • General Maintenance FT $12.00 Install, troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical equipment and distribution systems, involving work of a varied nature with a minimum of supervision. Alter, repair and maintain doors, floors, partitions, roofs, stairways, windows, screens and other wooden fixtures. Repair and maintain plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes and opening clogged drains.  Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, commodes or water heaters. Requires high school diploma or GED and one (1) year of relevant job experience with a licensed contractor. Valid Iowa driver’s license preferred. Requires general knowledge of computers and software applications.
  • Licensed Electrician FT TBA Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures for the casino complex. Ensures that work is in accordance with relevant codes. Requires a valid Journeyman’s or Master Electrician’s License and (3) years of experience as a skilled electrician, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have knowledge of blueprints, schematics; lock out tag out procedures and the National Electrical Code. Must have good knowledge of computers and software applications.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

  • Cocktail Server FT $5.10 To serve guests alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a responsible and professional manner. Provide timely, friendly and courteous service of all beverages.  Make every effort to ensure absolute customer satisfaction/provide outrageous customer service. Must be at least 18 years of age. Requires a high school diploma or GED.  Previous alcoholic beverage service experience preferred.

HOTEL

  • Gift Shop Cashier FT/PT $8.50 Receives and disburses money in the retail area. Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work directly with the general public. Must have good mathematical skills. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Must be able to operate a cash register. Must be flexible with shift and days off. Requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • Guest Service Representative PT/FT $9.00 Must be able to work directly with the general public. Must be able to change easily and frequently from one activity to another such as from typing, to searching in a directory, to using a telephone. Requires good organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written. Uses personal judgment and specialized knowledge to give information to people. Requires High school diploma or GED. Some previous job-related experience working directly with the general public is preferred. Requires some previous computer experience.
  • Inspector/ GRA FT $9.60 Supervises work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly, attractive rooms in the hotel.  High School Diploma or GED.  One (1) year of line level experience in all aspects of a Housekeeping Department, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Tour & Travel Associate FT $9.00 Greets all tours and issues Meskwaki Club cards and distributes coupons to guests arriving through the casinos Tour Bus, Limo and Shuttle programs. Must be friendly and courteous and able to work directly with the general public. Requires a high school diploma or GED. Requires knowledge of office equipment and basic knowledge of computers and software applications.
  • Valet Parking Attendant FT $8.00 +tips Issues or obtains numbered tags, parks and retrieves guests’ vehicles. High school diploma or GED. Experience in prior service oriented position(s) and/or related field preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. Must be insurable according to Company insurance guidelines and policies. Must be able to operate vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions.

LIVE GAMES

  • Keno Writer FT/PT $8.40 Conducts Keno Game during as assigned shift. Previous guest service and money handling experience preferred. Must be able to work directly with the general public. Requires good money abilities. Must have good communication skills both verbal and written. Must be flexible with work shifts and days off.
  • Pit Dealer FT/PT $5.50 Trainee ($7.50+tips Experienced) Requires successful completion of the appropriate dealer training course. Must be able to work directly with the general public. Must be flexible with work shifts and days off. Requires high school diploma or GED.
  • Poker Dealer FT/PT $5.95 Deals Poker games professionally, accurately, and according to policies and procedures. Must be prolific in various card games and proper dealing procedures. Must be able to work directly and interact with the general public. Must have excellent verbal communication skills. Must be flexible with work shifts and days off. Requires high school diploma or GED.

SALES AND MARKETING

  • Player’s Club Supervisor FT $11.60 Must be able to work directly with the general public. Ensures a high level of integrity and confidentiality with guest and employee data. Maintains an inventory of all equipment, brochures, and supplies to ensure accurate accountability and operation of the Club. High School Diploma or GED. Previous marketing or guest service experience preferred.
  • Player’s Club Associate FT $9.00 Must be able to work directly with the general public. Must be flexible with working hours and days off. Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Requires the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same. Must possess basic computer skills. High School Diploma or GED.

SECURITY

  • EMT FT $12.75 Assesses injuries, administers emergency medical care, and performs the duties of Security Officer. Operates equipment such external defibrillators and bag-valve mask resuscitators. Performs regular Security Officer daily duties. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Certified Iowa EMT/or current Registered Nurse with up to due credentials, and prove use of skills and equipment described above to meet an Iowa EMT level non-transport service and preferred one (1) year experience.
  • Officer FT $10.00 Monitors premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules during an assigned shift. Must be able to work directly with the general public. Requires the ability to see details at close range and from a distance. Must be able to handle busy and stressful situations. Requires good reading and writing skills. Must be capable of reading and understanding policies, procedures and memos. Must be dependable, courteous and reliable. Must be flexible with work shifts and days off. Must have good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. High school diploma or GED preferred.

SLOTS

  • Slot Attendant FT $9.73 + tips Must possess good money handling skills and basic math skills. Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and must be able to work as part of a team. Must be willing to be trained in the basic knowledge of slot machine functions including jackpot levels, payout procedures, pay table information, and basic machine repair techniques. Respond to all guest service needs; Interact in a positive cordial manner. High School Diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must pass a basic math test.
  • * Slot Technician FT $12.50 Completes gaming device system maintenance on all gaming devices and their related components/software and network support systems. Requires high school diploma or GED. Must at least 18 years of age. Lifting and carrying up to 150 pounds is required. Must be computer/software function literate with a wide range of electronic based practical skills.

SURVEILLANCE

  • Observer FT $12.25Observes casino or casino hotel operations for irregular activities such as cheating or theft by either employees or patrons in order to protect casino assets and assist in efforts to maintain adherence to internal controls, departmental procedures and other company policies. Requires a High School diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years of age.

CASINO CLEANING SERVICES

  • Equipment Crew FT   $10.00 Keeps buildings, offices, public areas or other assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition. Requires a high school diploma or GED. Requires some relevant work experience.
  • Porter   FT   $8.75 Keeps buildings, offices, public areas or other assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition.

ENGINEERING

  • Tool Crib Attendant FT $9.00 Checks in and out tools, equipment and material to employees to provide inventory control in addition to having inventory stocked for easy repair and maintenance of the facility and its’ assets. Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment, manually or using computer. Requires high school diploma or GED. Requires general knowledge of computers and software applications.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

  • Bingo Concessions Cook/Cashier FT $9.00 Provide timely, friendly and courteous service of Concession menu items.  Make every effort to ensure absolute customer satisfaction. Must be at least 18 years of age. Requires a high school diploma or GED. Previous deli or concessions work experience preferred.
  • Buffet Baker FT $9.50 Requires a Culinary degree from an accredited institute/school or one (1) year of prior restaurant cooking experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior baking experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • Buffet Cook FT $11.00 Cook and present food for the buffet or other operations according to established quality standards. Prepare and present: large quantities of food for the Buffet, Catering and Employee Dining Room; food orders for other operations. Must be at least 18 years of age.  Requires a high school diploma or GED. Requires a Culinary degree from an accredited institute/school or one (1) year of prior restaurant cooking experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Buffet Dining Room Attendant FT $5.10 Serve beverages and provide table service in a professional manner to guests at our buffet. Must be at least 18 years of age.  Some previous wait staff experience preferred.
  • Buffet Dishwasher FT $9.00 Cleans dinnerware, food preparation wares and equipment and kitchen area in a manner that meets established cleanliness standards. Entry-level position.
  • Buffet or Cafe Host/Cashier FT $9.00 Welcomes guests, seats them at tables, and helps ensure quality service.  Handles customer payment transactions in an effective and efficient manner. Must be at least 18 years of age.  Requires a high school diploma or GED.  Previous host/hostess and cashier experience preferred. 
  • Buffet Line Server FT $8.75 Prepares and supplies food according to established quality standards for salad-dessert bar and buffet line such as salads, fruit, vegetables, pizza. Must be at least 18 years of age. Entry level position. Some restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
  • Café Wait Staff FT $6.70 + tips Take orders and serve food and beverages in a professional manner to guests at tables in our casual dining restaurant. Must be at least 18 years of age.  Some previous wait staff experience preferred.
  • Food Arcade Cook/Cashier FT $9.00 Prepare food orders for Arcade guests in a manner that meets established quality standards. Professionally serves menu items to guests and handles payment transactions efficiently and effectively. Must be at least 18 years of age.  Requires a high school diploma or GED.  Previous deli or concessions work experience preferred.
  • Prime Cut Wait Staff FT $6.90 + tips Take orders and serve food and beverages in a professional manner to guests at tables in our fine dining restaurant. Must be at least 18 years of age. Some previous wait staff experience required.

HOTEL

  • Guest Room Attendants FT $9.00 Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain rooms and halls within the hotel. Entry-level position. Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Housekeeping Utility FT $8.75 Performs a combination of tasks that maintain the hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive guest experience. Entry-level position. Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • Laundry Worker FT/PT $8.75 Operates and tends to laundry machines to clean articles such as wearing apparel, sheets, blankets, and other linens used by the hotel and property. Lifts clean wet articles from the washer and places them successively into wringers and dryers for measured time cycles. High School Diploma or GED. Previous laundry experience preferred.
